Oh, hi. I’m Joe Rybicki. I’m a freelance writer and consultant. I write a lot of stuff about the videogame industry, technology, and other topics as they strike my fancy. And I help game companies make games better. I’ve been writing professionally since the summer of 1996, and consulting since 2006.
I also write, record, and on very rare occasions perform music. You can hear the results of my efforts over at johnnyhighground.com—why not stop by and have a listen?
I am also a fan of, in no particular order: poker, whisk(e)y, geeky board games, wine, Vegas, fine foods, Cleveland, San Francisco, nature, travel, the serial comma, and adorable furry animals.
